Infinite Plane Sheet

Field of an infinite charged sheet is uniform, perpendicular to the sheet, and independent of distance.

On both sides of an isolated sheet, E = σ/(2ε₀) outward.

Between two oppositely charged parallel sheets, fields add: E_inside = σ/ε₀.
