Variable (Air-Gang) Capacitor

Multi-vane gang capacitor: capacitance varies as overlap area changes.

C(θ) ∝ |cosθ| for half-circle vanes — used in tuned LC radio receivers.

Allows manual tuning of resonant frequency f₀ = 1/(2π√(LC)).
